ABC Online;
Israel security forces have evicted more than 100 hardline Jewish settlers from a Gaza Strip hotel.
In an attempt to keep other settlers from moving into Gush Katif, the Israeli military declared the area a closed military zone.
Moving into the Gush Katif settlement bloc, hundreds of Israeli soldiers and border police stormed the Palm Beach hotel which was being used as a stronghold by far-right wing settlers.
While some agreed to walk out of the hotel, others were dragged and carried out.
It is feared that in the lead-up to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's planned pull-out from Gaza in August, far-right Jewish activists and settlers will pour into the strip in a bid to disrupt the withdrawal.
