Wounded 17 stonethrowers without killing any. That's a change.
Seventeen Palestinian were injured on Thursday when Israeli forces staging an incursion in the village of Tamun near Jenin, in the northern West Bank, opened fire on a crowd of stone-throwers, the village mayor said.
Mayor Bashar Bani Ouda said none of the injuries were serious.
The clashes erupted as the Israeli forces surrounded the house of a wanted militant with troops and bulldozers and prepared to destroy it, he said.
Earlier in the day, three children were wounded as the army made its incursion to search for suspected militant, he said.
The army was unable to comment immediately on the incident.
