ISS and Glass Lewis have weighed in and not surprisingly are both in favour of the merger. That my friends is the trump card, the ace in the hole. I expect most institutional shareholders, which include registered shareholders (ie. intermediaries), to vote FOR the deal and will account for the lion’s share of the vote. Greywolf would look silly in front of its unit holders should they side against the top two independent proxy advisors.
