Issue of Shares to Employees

IT&e Limited (ASX code: "ITE" AIM: "ITEL") announces that on 2 February 2007 it
has issued 25,000 Ordinary Shares of no par value. The shares are issued in
accordance with the IT&e Employee Share Acquisition Plan, approved by
shareholders on 30 November 2003, at nil consideration.

Following the issue of these 25,000 Ordinary Shares, the total number of
Ordinary Shares in issue now is 211,695,532.

Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM
and this is expected to take place on 8 February 2007.
