A thousand ASX stocks on any given day are short traded. There is no difference between shorting a stock in the morning and buying back in the afternoon compared to selling all your share in the morning and buying them back in the afternoon. None whatsoever. Obviously, you don't scull your beer when you go to Bay 13 at the cricket.
Only when traders hold significant short positions and increase their short position daily to drive the price down could it be considered manipulative.
This is not happening with HRZ. There is no blatant and very evident practice of short selling to artificially affect the HRZ share price.
