You say they admit to everything to which they have been accused except for what was written being defamatory. That means they denied everything to which they have been accused. Admitting the article was written and published is not an admission but merely agreeing to the facts informing the dispute. To write, as you have, "They admit everything of which they are accused except that what was written was defamatory" is misleading. They were accused of nothing but defamation. There is no case if he only dispute is over whether the article was published or not. That is undeniable - hence the "admission". To claim differently is misleading or delusional. I go with delusional. And to witness anyone in the fits of delusion is distressing. Distressing to anyone with a smidge of humanity, anyways.
