    The fanbois are "Happy Clappers" believers.

    They happily give their funds to a charismatic leader in exchange for promised benefits that never eventuate - except, perhaps, in the afterlife, when it doesn't matter to anyone, but they can get comfort from the fact that, some time, in the future, there will be value from their faith.

    They are doomed, as it never eventuates
