how do we calculate damages for ISX shareholders?
I believe we might have to evaluate our options here. It's highly likely in my view that we holders will get our opportunity to file a class action (provided ISX wins the case).
You raise a good point, what if the shares open (say in another exchange) greater than the closing price? Zero compensation, might be as you say, but what about the opportunity cost of not having your funds in a term deposit for e.g. even if its 3.5% or buying other investments that pay dividends at 5% or 6% or even paying off your mortgage or credit card, etc? Do courts consider these aspects? Any holders, who have a legal view on this?
