I share your frustration but citing the transgressions of other companies misses the true motivations in my opinion. The mud thrown at ISX is merely convenient cover. ISX’s true sin is that they represent a threat to ASX monopolistic profits and their ambitions to extend that monopoly. Not only that but they threaten value of the ASX tech investment and strategic transformation. ASX is trading on an unsustainable 30x multiple on the promise of their tech transformation. If that were to fall back to market of say 17x you are taking about wiping some $7bn in value. That’s the real story.
