As it is his personal matter, I wouldn’t comment more. But regarding your comment, ”just ATO automated system flagging stuff”, I disagree. My understanding is once the system flags, it would trigger manual intervention (person looking the data) and when it’s for few million dollars, manual examination would have been occurred, imho.
