I think the risk with shorting this stock, particularly now it is suspended is that a very positive bullish picture could gradually emerge and you are unable to to take action and cover the short due to the suspension. Of course the same applies in the other direction, but as a holder you can only lose a percentage of the money you invested (worst case being 100%). As a shorter though, you can lose many times the value of your original short, so the stakes are far higher.
