maybe the confidential conversation is ASIC advising ASX - don't suspend ISX as there isn't any proof of wrong doing; hang on that's already been mentioned. I'm pretty sure if something is not mentioned pre trial then it can't be submitted during the actual event without some big hurdles. so if ASX has some material evidence- best to show that 'ace' now to stop this in its tracks maybe ASX need a few more years to find an expert that agrees with them.
A nail in coffin of what seems to be an attrition tactic would be ISXFU getting another couple of contracts or the judge start making a intermediary payment orders for all these delays.
how come OM aren't getting smashed by some proper investigations ? is it because if ASIC start doing that, then basically all teams are admitting that the ISX thing was just a ruse?
When WBC skimmed from their customers, they were reported as profits. Didn't they have to pay it all back ? What else have WBC done that is illegal/ deceiving shareholders? any suspension while an investigation takes place, actually any further investigations? Wouldn't that be more balanced and fair to do? oh speculative suspensions only applies to certain companies or fomo wire under certain capital thresholds.
it would be great to see less power going to media after this or at least more balanced reporting - if society are not able to easily obtain all information then how are we supposed to formulate appropriate positions? this goes well beyond this single story.
