Personally I think it was extended due to the busy time of the year in the printing game causing delays. I'm a bookbinder by trade and the industry is generally understaffed and overworked so you gotta deal with it. Plus the upcoming Vic election and every company scheduling their AGM and needing forms sent out. You get 2 week lead times blown out by a week or more.
I didn't get my forms until the Wednesday before the original Friday close which would(assuming others were in the same boat) reduce the uptake unfavourably. Plus delays in AusPost with all the pre-Christmas internet buying, etc etc.
Or it was to delay until the results of the expansion drilling were ready for release?
