In addition to some of the catalysts outlined, i've always believed that the strategy of shorting/manipulating the s.p. down over many months, allows for larger volumes of sellers to accumulate. Then, when the time to the next significant catalyst is rapidly lessening, line-wipes snatch large chunks.
There are so many ducks being lined up now and its quite a nice feeling watching the market slowly start to see the bigger picture.
Ultimately i'd like a takeover, and i think that premium will be on top of an already significantly higher s.p.
Once there's a built market pathway from reservoir to user, the 'stranded asset' handicap we've suffered for years will be a distant memory.
All the other gas we have yet to discover in this huge super basin will back-fill hungry users.
