If the outcome looks precarious they bow to the demands on UNITA and repeat the election in the disputed Luanda region no doubt with a leak that it's close race so far...

I dont think MPLA has a say. The Angolaan electoral commission organised the election and would decide if a re-vote is warranted. MPLA ( in theory) will do as it is told and abide by Angolan electoral commision findings.
Caetano de Sousa, the head of the National Electoral Commission, told reporters it would be impractical and too expensive to hold a new poll and extending the vote was the best option to address the delays
