    Hate to burst your bubble but the Y2K time clocking issue was all too real, especially in the automated environments like buildings, factories, power stations, etc. I know because I had to carry out firmware workarounds on 8 bit year identifiers and leap year divide by 400. Luckily someone realised well in advance.
