Now you guys are beginning to see why Labor and the unions love construction projects.
It’s tax payer funded closed shops where rorting would be all in a days work. The back handers in these projects might be house size and bigger. Take a look at all these projects including the NBN and you can smell the rorts. They hardly ever arrive on time or on budget so the costs blow out even more. George street conversion, Syd tunnel, cross city tunnel, mono rail, dumb schools program with million dollar tuck shops, the NBN, new HWY’s etc. Imagine the fun that was had during the Olympics. I seem to remember hearing that union workers were logging in but left work straight away when building all the developments down at Pyrmont in the 80’s. Don’t forget the iconic Opera house. Those rorts must have simply been stunning. We have all heard about some councils. Another black hole designed to torture the public.
Infrastructure projects will need to crank up with massive immigration moving forward. I suspect those companies will continue to do well. I am sure some polticians will get some renovated kitchens out of all this.
Maybe Labor Sam can do a good deal with a Chinese construction company and drop the costs..for a price.
Maybe Bill can do a special deal and get the company a good reduced pay deal for a price. Muhsrooms anyone?
Maybe EddieOb can muster up a few favours and get things signed off quickly..for a price. Perhaps McDonald could speed up the paper work and cut costs..for a price. I could name many more, but it’s just more of the same.
Gee, I see a pattern with Labor polticians. Maybe it’s just a coincidence?
It’s not just dodgy polticians, check out the banks.
I have to go now because I’m watching a film on my tax payer funded set top box about the cost of our submarines. Lol
