We have a bureaucracy which is not elected and is untouchable, and basically they can't be sacked, they also have some protection from being sued for doing the wrong thing, and there is no organisation to watch over their actions
We have politicians who although they are elected they also cannot be sacked until the end of their term ad then you get the choice of voting for them again or a totally different party, they also have some protection from being sued for doing the wrong thing, and there is no organisation to watch over their actions
So if ever there was a system designed to be ripe for deceit, graft and downright stealing this must shortly be it
Slowly and certainly the politicians have taken more and more liberties to the point we are no longer a proper democratic system as we the people have lost all our rights and power to control our country
Sack 50 % of bureaucrats and make politicians accountable to the people
