I have no particular knowledge of either the Longtom or Crux but cannot see why some posters are saying that IT's redundancy necessarily means that progress is not being made in bringing another party in on either project.

The continued involvement of Mr Tchacos could have been a drop-dead issue for an outside party. That is, the other party is interested but only if they do not have to put up with IR. There would be no point in merely having Mr T sit out of negotiations because once the deal were to done then the other party would then have to deal with IT anyway. Perhaps the only way for NXS to nail a deal is for NXS's board to move him on. Anyway 7 years as boss of a company with patchy form is more than long enough.
