- The processing power required far exceeds anything in a $500 consumer product
- It is currently struggling to deal with shadows using a high res camera with a person sat one foot away stationary so you can imagine what uncontrolled changing environments would do to it.
- They outline the fact that any moving person causes the system to break as it relies on temporally stable textures for its anchor points.
Awesome tech for detail face mapping that can than be passed and used in a complex rigged 3d model sadly however not at all applicable for something like a drone camera.
