    Yes, 12% of NZers now live in Australia. Less than 0.03% of Australians live in NZ.

    No I have no wish to deport your mate to NZ. Has he considered becoming an Australian citizen? If not, why not? Look at the opportunities we have provided for him over the decades.

    But I do believe that the Open door policy should no longer apply especially as many other nationalities are exploiting the situation and using NZ as a backdoor into Australia. If NZ want their preferential status to continue, they really should have done somrthing about this.

    650,000 NZers live in Australia, compared to just 800,000 who live in the South island. We may as well be called the West Island.

    Australia needs to start taking our residency, citizenship and border security much more seriously. It's a tough world out there and those with soft policies, unfortunately will be exploited.
