Obdurate, ok thanks for that, my mate has property and other complications in a will, that are delaying being an Australian Citizen, but im sure he will one day.I didnt think the back door policy through NZ to Australia worked any more after 2001.The only thing that is upsetting by your comments, he like me is a returned soldier, and his dad fought with us as a soldier in the Anzac forces, and helped fight for Australia and New Zealand, and would be a shame to lose that spirit that has continued for such a long time.
