A few too many ifs and buts for me with RIO at this stage. After buying in at $37 about two weeks back I am out at $45 today. If a capital raising is required (which is still a stong possibility) then RIO will get punished IMO.
The upside is if the Chinese get the FIRB approval and pay a 'top price' (unlikely) this baby will fly....the old risk vs return.
For me I will be sitting on the sidelines looking to re-enter if a capital raising goes ahead and provides a weakness in the share price. Would however like to see all those longer term holders rewarded for the patience and wish you luck.
