There have been a number of posts in recent months about the awarding of NBN contracts and how that will give the SSM share price a big boost, so I need some clarification. The NBN website shows that SSM won about 20% of the work from the first release sites announced in March 2010. There were some second release sites announced in July 2010 but I couldn't find on the NBN website to whom they were awarded.
I believe the first release sites should be fully operational shortly, so don't know if that will be a trigger for the awarding of further work. Does anyone know the intended timing and extent of any further NBN contracts? Or is is just assumed they will happen this year some time?
