i can understand the empathy if there was a jorc & bfs that people had based an investment decision upon and it turned out to the be fraud but why should i feel it when people were paying a 700 mill market cap without either? please explain?
it just feels like people were either dreaming for the big payday early retirement or plain old gambling with a highly speculative stock that had run from 15c to 10 bucks based on hype?
i think people can and will recover from this. even people who never held can use it as a learning lesson. you cant get carried away with these stocks. probably only 2-3% actually go onto be a success and really deliver earnings and dividends.
holding into such a big announcement was always a gamble. i just dont see it any other way. any holding of a spec stock into a major announcement is always a 50/50 bet.
