A fair comment mate ! This is the 1st time I buy into Telstra to tap dividend, hence need a second opinion to convince my boss I’ve recently moved both my NBN and mobile services to Telstra after 10 years with TPG and Voldafone. Couldn’t be happier with the speed and reception signal. The only downside is Telstra mobile plans don’t give free minutes calling overseas like Voldafone’s offer.
I know stock tend to drop over shooting dividend deduction when going ex. I guess we could see $2.9 when trading ex dividend. Thanks for responding anyway. Good luck holders. Cheers
