    encore, I will not be too quick to refute your 'spike theory' it very well may.......though my reasoning may differ somewhat.....it could transpire that the pressure was so great on the manipulators continuously smashing POG under $750 that they have now retreated and will smash it everytime in sticks it's head over $800......time will tell
