In business there are two types of funding sources equity and debt. Enterprise value does not differentiate between the two. What did GRY do recently? An equity raising which is a funding source. What does it say in the second highlighted bullet point in the capital raising announcement?
"Oversubscribed and well supported by new and existing institutional shareholders"

That would be me who commented on the gold price and AMX share price. Please use history as a guide to what the players within the market do to the share price. Have a look at the relationship between developing miners and the spot price of whatever commodity is being developed. Now see if this relationship holds when an institution is selling out. Is there any relationship? It's up to you to do your due diligence and build an investing mental framework. You could use a checklist. This is a good book. "The Checklist Manifesto: How to Get Things Right". A lot of great fund managers have read it and incorporated it in their investing.
