Earlier today I referenced Volta Resources (TSX:VTR) as an adjacent tenement holder to AMX in Burkina Faso, and as a potential collaboration/corporate opportunity for both companies.

Even more tantalising for AMX is the potential for copper somewhere within our huge 3500SQKM landholding. Whilst I cannot find any past AMX reference to copper potential, the evidence it would seem is by the fact that Volta Resources have a NI 43-101 compliant Inferred Resource of 82,600,000 tonnes grading 0.40% copper and 0.40 g/t gold for a total of 724,880,000 lbs of copper and 1,072,900 ounces of gold, calculated at a 0.45% copper equivalent cut-off grade at Dienemera and Gongondy.

Significant drill results include:
129m @ 0.50 Cu and 0.52 Au g/t
124m @ 0.56 Cu and 0.34 Au g/t
69m @ 0.62 Cu and 0.68 Au g/t
55m @ 0.79 Cu and 0.56 Au g/t
39m @ 0.96 Cu and 0.39 Au g/t

We are right next door. In fact AMXs tenements abut and surround Volta Resources tenements and Cu/Au resource to the west, south and east. Go figure.
