Good thread title chand. Imo this has nothing to do with bad luck (or no oil, but thats a separate question) and everything to do with poor operational performance.

In all the venting I've read, most seems to be focussed on TB. Yes he is ultimately responsible, but personally i have two questions:

    1. What the hell is Dan Gralla (VP - Engineering) doing? He seems to be the person directly responsible for the operational performance, and that is the function under the spotlight here. If I was TB I'd be looking for a replacement for DG before I got the boot myself.

    2. Surely by now management is reviewing its business model of going it alone and contracting out everything to 3rd party operators vs setting up a JV with a CLR or a DVN who have the operational skills to deliver producing wells in their respective areas? Then let TB do what he is good at - sniffing out new new cheap as chips patches that the operational partners can exploit.

    Cheers, Sharks.

PS: Sandys, since you said on Sunday you were going to be positive this week I take it you are in the "cheer squad"? :-)
