Government might be tightening funding however it will never be in their interest to abolish financial assistance to IVF, the benefits of population growth on the economy far outweighs the cost of any IVF treatment. Companies are investing in diversified assets to minimise the risk of government funding cuts, such as acquiring imaging and ultrasound clinics, services which all pregnant women needs not just those undergoing IVF. Furthermore, there is ongoing consolidation within the industry and larger players will take over.
