Every commentator this morning is giving climate change and women as the reason of the LNP defeat. l looked at the booths in areas with a high number of Australian Chinese voters and most had a swing of 10 to 20 % against the Liberal party particularly in the blue seats in Sydney and Melbourne that fell to independents.. it is apparent the Chinese vote that previously favoured the LNP was diverted to independents and Greens to punish Morrison's Government for their policies towards China.. most Chinese business people I know always voted LNP... Not this time..their business and family relations with their mother country have become very difficult.. Scomo should have known you don't piss in the well you drink from and you don't bite the hand that feeds you.. The ultimate winner out of this defeatest strategy is Peter Dutton...He played the China card beautifully to become the leader of the conservitave side. 2025 looks very interesting....
