Haha. It is the fact that it is health related that IP rights are even more important. No private enterprise will fund this kind of without it because the failure rate is so high. The alternative is to go back to the dark ages, no R&D because we all just want to free ride off each other. Die from preventable diseases because we couldn't have it all. Good luck with that.
