Under Ken Mackenzie you could have probably rated this an 8 out of 10, nice stable growth lead by key acquisitions such as Alcon. Asia Pacific acquisition strategy was to buy lots of small $20-$50millon revenue plants, bolster the top line then Amcorise them, what’s been forgotten along the way is the customer and innovation, that is what drives organic growth, Ken gone for two years now, the aqusitions have slowed up and now it’s rationalisation mode. The saddest thing to see is Austrialia the founding country for Amcor, lose market share and large revenue decline, the model is no longer applicable IMO, when a business can’t fulfill orders or meet them on time then the customer no longer wants them to supply. Suggest the company is now a modest 6 and the market is starting to catch on. A defensive stock, certainly many better growth stories out there. Good luck if you think is going $20 anytime soon.
