These BFS's aren't cheap.

Lets not forget Xstrata came on the scene 7 August 2008 when the resource was estimated at 20.4 mil oz. (6 weeks later upgraded to 38.4 mil)

What also helps me sleep at night is that the 2 months prior to xstrata JV ann. platinum prices had tumbled from 2100/oz to 1480 /oz This time would have been crucial to their deliberations on committing to paying for BFS etc and planning a possible joint venture production of such a huge resource .

So, if they are happy to continue with a plummeting price of platinum and a resource of 20 mil ( yes , they had done minimal drills, but that could have been the end of the resource)then what will Xstrata do with platinim on the rise and a resource of 100 mil in two weeks (currently 70 Mil)?

I for one, agree 2010 will be a time to fly.
