Naxtra is specifically interesting in Northern China due to reported low-temperature performance. When I was in China two years ago during a -30 degree patch people were getting quite angry about the performance of electric cars, the range was at least halving if the cars worked at all. Credibility of car manufacturers was getting lost quickly. At -20 degrees the cars were going ok, but with shorter range.
On raw gravimetric density - nothing announced by BYD or CATL is interesting yet ... except the self-forming anode which has crummy cycle-count and slow charge rates. The "dual battery zone" stuff is marketing drivel to me. One part of the battery has good density, but don't use it too often because it doesn't have many cycles in it. The other part of the battery has good performance in cold temperatures and can be fast charged but is a density similar to LFP.
