It must be about forty years since

The last big run on junior gold mining stocks.
I remember it well but cannot remember what triggered it, though imagine it must have been event driven or the perceived safe haven of gold at a time of uncertainty.
All gold shares were substantially up and many a fortune made ,no doubt.
This time round it is different .
If the strikes here are half as good as expected then history is set to repeat .
The average Joe Blogs at this point hasn't even heard of this story.
Once it is front and center on the 6 o'clock news a lot more people will be wanting to get in on the action.
It will spur a modern day gold rush of epic proportion and with it a huge spike in Pilbara gold share prices from the biggest company right down to the smallest.
My guess would be that most people have never heard of the Witwatersrand nor the fact that so much of the worlds gold was found there.
Once they know that story and the thoughts of QH that this is potentially bigger, then anybody with half a mind ,some spare cash and the foresight to make some easy money will be looking to join the gravy train.
And what better time to be getting aboard.
