BAGHDAD, Nov 18 (Reuters) - Two loud blasts rocked central Baghdad on Friday and police said at least three people were wounded and a family trapped in wreckage from the explosions.

A reporter for Reuters who was close to the blasts said they appeared to have been caused by car bombs.

The reporter said two car bombs had exploded close to the Hamra Hotel, which is used by foreigners including journalists.

The blasts were also close to an interior ministry bunker at the centre of a detainee abuse scandal. The bunker was raided by U.S. forces at the weekend who found more than 160 prisoners, some of them showing signs of abuse.
