Scott Morrison was rumbled by the states. The states demand an 80% vaccination rate before they will guarantee no border closures, they know that is not obtainable before the next election and they are playing political games. What happened to the idea that state borders would not be closed after everybody has had a chance to get the jab. Labor and the greens will make sure that the 80% will not happen.
He should go to the election with a few positive messages. The first would be to open state borders, then a big infrastructure spend on roads and water. Water to include hydro and dams, then cheap power with coal and nuclear in addition to the hydro.
He could then campaign on "Make Australia Great". I was going to say "make Australia great AGAIN" but then we have never really made overall total greatness.
