    (a) Not doing that well, just have had a good few months.
    (b) I don't really pick stocks. In fact I am doing less research of the valuation side than I have ever done.

    I changed recently. I looked at all the stocks I own and just torched the crap ones. I looked at sectors and what was running (although ignored pharmaceuticals which was a shame).

    I also started trading gold stocks but usually when gold got hit the hardest. I would plant real low ball buys and wait. When they got hit I would exit that day. I kept EVN yesterday because I felt I had made enough elsewhere; could bear the loss and could take the risk.

    I bore some risk so that when trades went the other way I didn't stop out but waited. This is high risk usually but I figured on this market I would be OK. That ends as of next week.

    Finally, I started using the 10 day and 1 day 1 min charts with MACD and other indicators. I figured that since this is short term looking at Jan 2012 numbers wasn't really going to help.
