Stan - I agree that I didn't take into account off screen action. However, I don't agree about the depth. When it took off the sell orders were being replenished quickly and you only needed to watch the course of sales for 5 minutes to realise your best chance to pick up 500,000 shares at x price was to put it all out at once.
