    Exactly right TCISboss.

    The fears are not rooted in reality.

    I know at a PE of 18 with quality, predictable earnings, I'll get 50% of my investment back in 9 years and be free carried in 18 years.

    Regardless of whether the US Gov't debt is rather high, or whether any one particular currency is devalued, etc, it won't change the above fact. Just like a farm that produces cows isn't going to be affected by what the monetary or fiscal policies are of the day, the large US corporates aren't going to be affected in any significant way by what they do.

    I suspect there won't be too many more opportunities in the future where you can buy an investment and, on conservative estimates (that is, assuming zero sales and profit growth) be free carried in 18 years.
