Kincella - You're right about the dividend not being worth much. Growing the business is more important.
That's one of the ways Buffet chooses his companies, he looks for those that reinvest profits for growth, not those that hand divs out to holders. Better long term investment that way.
Believe BHP will be played with for a few days till fundies reset, then it will climb back up.
