Australia need their own medical defence division separate to Army, Navy and Airforce. They should have specialised high specialised experts who know how to manage threats like this. They should be advising the PM on how to act. Just my 2c. What's the use of pumping billions into defence if we can't defend a epidemic. In any case, I would not be surprised if terrorist become more innovative with their weaponry and use illnesses to attack their enemies. Bit of a tin fool hate theory here but I truly believe defence these days is more than just the traditional arms. It's scary.
