The per capita recession that received media coverage a couple of weeks ago was all about how without immigration, we would be in recession now.
As for your comment about lower asset prices, which assets are you referring to?? Without immigration, we would not have had the mother of all property booms.
Do you have any data on immigrants earning less money. A decent portion of our immigration intake is skilled labour which is good income jobs.
