Just having a coffee with my old black lab sitting by my side - and your thought about Mum and Dad investors.

Your thoughts are spot on. I try to teach my kids (25 and 21) about shrewd and careful investments. Each of them have a few shares now including very small holding in PRR (20000 @ 8c). The youngest sold a few the other day - covering his initial outlay. The discussion around the kitchen table has been priceless. The elder daughter won't sell because she says this a very good cause and she wants to support. The younger one tells her to make a profit and run.

Let's hope a few Mum And Dad investors can make a little and not get burnt.
