I think the question is more the battery supply chains being established in Europe and the US (maybe Japan and South Korea too), not China. They are also the markets where ESG is more relevant so the use of the synthetic product is less likely.
That is where the opportunity for the natural graphite market is in my opinion, unless western consumers impose ESG compliance on the Chinese product too.
