if the price of the commodity isn't doing well this affects the project's economics. if a project doesnt demonstrate good economics it impacts the probability of getting good financing terms, it may also impact the price setting for offtakes, so overall your project may not even proceed. therefore you are left with dud projects in the ground. i think this is pretty basic knowledge you should have when investing. not saying ITM won't proceed, because we don't know enough to assess that, but it does matter even if they arent producing yet.
