Hopefully we see some of the assay results from the southern drilling at Lacroma before the new year, would be about due I would imagine? Would be good to see the continuation of that trend.
SA is in an interesting position, with two of its largest companies (Santos and Adelaide Brighton), and some of the only remaining major corporates with major operations/hq in Adelaide, being speculated as takeover targets.
Should be a focus on new industry (which im sure the govt is always thinking about), and would have to think energy transition/battery materials is one of the most obvious plays this century, massive growth potential. SA obviously has copper, which is mainly BHP, there is a big focus on hydrogen, which seems more niche, but graphite and battery anodes would seem like another obvious focus given the seemingly very good resources and ability to process with renewable energy resources. Sounds like there is an obvious demand for ex China supply, so lets hope we as a state get behind it.
