In my lifetime, I have been witness to an Australia as an egalitarian society offering every opportunity to those who wish to work and enjoy a civil relationship with their fellow Australians, declining to an increasing propensity of those in society who have a "right to everything" mentality and an attitude that anything that the mind can conceive is ok, with scant regard to the repercussions on society.

I could go on, however, I despair somewhat, that the message is lost on many here on HC.

My relationship with fellow Australians has been more than civil and I wouldn't really consider them entitled either, most couples I know live a fairly modest existence that still requires they both have full time jobs.

You sure you're not just a victim of the "good ol' days" fallacy?
